Join us for an uplifting and beginner-friendly workshop exploring movement, creativity, reflection, and play as pathways to deeper connection with ourselves, each other, and the natural world. Through guided exercises, participants will have the opportunity to cultivate curiosity, imagination, and presence while reconnecting with the wisdom of the body and the rhythms of life around us. The workshop will be led by Melissa Lowenstein, a psychotherapist, movement artist, educator, and longtime facilitator dedicated to integrating somatics and the creative arts into personal growth and community well-being. Come as you are and leave feeling more grounded, alive, and empowered. No dance or movement experience is required—just a willingness to show up and be present.
This event is part of the Community Environmental Council's A Year of Active Hope, a series of free events hosted at our Environmental Hub to unite the community and create space for courage, connection, and change.
